The bill requires the Forest Service to complete environmental and regulatory reviews for all mine plans of operations submitted within the Superior National Forest, with a completion deadline of 18 months from submission. The bill directs the Forest Service to reissue mineral leases, preference right leases, and prospecting permits that were previously cancelled for lands in that forest. Leases and permits reissued under these provisions are not subject to judicial review.
